Plant is named after Parris Island, South Carolina and is known as one of the best romaines for keeping after leaves are cut. Plant is resistant to frost and extreme heat. Heads can grow to ~10 - 12" with a heart in the middle.
This vegetable was grown in raised garden beds and then transplanted to pots.
Plant can be repotted to well-draining soil in a pot or directly sowed in the ground. Prefers bright, direct light -- transplant outdoors; plant is frost-tolerant.
