Alocasia cucullata is a species of flowering plant in the arum family. It is kept as an ornamental plant. Native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. Produces thick, erect stems and wide, heart-shaped leaves.

Not safe for pets; plants are toxic if ingested.

Our varieties are established using a custom blend of FoxFarm soil and our own soil from East of San Antonio.

All our Alocasia cucullata come from a mother plant that was sourced from a family-owned garden center in South Texas.

Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight.

Recommended to water every week, making sure the soil never dries out. Expect to water more often in high light vs. less often in low light. Wipe tops of leaves every couple of weeks to prevent dust buildup and maximize surface. Also suggest misting leaves every couple of days or placing plant near humidity.
