Indoor vining flora. Tropical, native to the Central Americas. Monstera deliciosa is a species of evergreen tropical vine that is a part of Araceae, the aroid family. The swiss cheese like leaf holes (actually called fenestrations) are meant to maximize sun capture where they would naturally grow on the forest floor.

Not safe for pets; plants are toxic if ingested.

Our varieties are established using a custom blend of potting soil.

All our monsteras come from 3 mother plants that were originally sourced from a local, family-owned garden center in San Antonio, Texas.

Thrives in bright indirect to medium sunlight.

Recommended to water every 1 - 2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in high light vs. less often in low light. Wipe tops of leaves every couple of weeks to prevent dust buildup and maximize surface. Also suggest misting leaves every couple of days.
Plant is a vine and can be somewhat managed by staking with light ties.

Plant prefers roots to grow tightly. We recommend the plant should change pots when it's about 2.5 times longer than it's pot. It's a customer preference. We also suggested refreshing the soil every few months and if the plant is a manageable size, repot every year or so.
